REMAINS

Remains is a continuation of previous works that investigated the transition of three-dimensional digital models into a two-dimensional visual language. While those earlier pieces focused on the dissolution of the body into surface via the UV layout, Remains returns to the original forms—not as a reconstruction, but as a trace.
The works are once again based on 3D models whose spatial logic is fragmented, layered, and abstracted. Elements of the original volume are preserved, yet detach themselves from their functionality to emerge as formal remnants. The two-dimensional representation is no longer the endpoint of transformation, but a field in which space, surface, and depth are simultaneously present.
